Why big sizes are an opportunity

Which styles sell best in big sizes?
Focus on comfortable, versatile everyday styles rather than fashion items:

If you sell in the US or UK, ask your supplier to measure insole length for each size and label boxes with your local sizing.
How to plan a big-size range
- Start with a few proven styles. Two or three comfortable basics in black, grey and white cover most demand.
- Extend the size curve, do not replace it. Many buyers add EU 47 to 50 to an existing style rather than launching a separate line.
- Check width as well as length. Wide feet are common among big-size customers.
- Order smaller quantities per size. Demand per size is lower at the top of the range, so spread quantities carefully.
Sourcing big sizes from a manufacturer
Big sizes need suitable lasts and sole molds, which not every factory has. When you contact a supplier, ask:
- Which styles already have molds and lasts up to your largest size?
- Can sizes be split within the MOQ, for example 300 pairs across EU 44 to 50?
- Can they provide the insole length for each size?
